I am looking forward to Dynamics CRM 2016 and learned a bit about Dynamic spreadsheets. Is possible to export the dynamic spreadsheet and modify records which would then be updated in CRM?

I'm trying to set up a robust and efficient CRM so I don't have technical issues afterwards.

I understand that when creating a new record, I can give a client or customer number,

please can you give me an example of when a company might use account number.

Please kindly advise thanks

Data in dynamic sheet will change as per the data in CRM not the other way around. You need to reimport the sheet again to get it reflected in CRM.

You need to re-import the excel into CRM using Data Import wizard and it will update.

But if you are looking for some button on excel to sync automatically then that is not available.
