Ownership assignment issue

When one of our system user tried to assign the ownership of one Account to another person using "Assign" button on the particular account record, the ownership of all the Accounts that were owned by her also got changed to the new person.

Hi,

So lets say you have 10 account records owned by the userA - when userA assigns one account record, it changes ownership of other 9 account records as well ?

If yes, this is not an expected behavior. Is this happening with other entity records as well ?

For testing purpose, if you create new account record, is it happening to them ?

1. Do you have a custom plugin/workflow on Account entity ? If yes, please try to deactivate them and validate the behavior.
