User Mapping

I just upgraded in a test environment to SL7 with windows authentication. How do I map the old SQL users to corresponding domain users or is this possible? Also how do I assign the customizations that I exported and reimported back to the users? If someone could point me to a resource that explains all this I would appreciate it. I have been searching and haven't had much luck. Thanks!

    Hi Jamie,

Do these SQL users have windows accounts? As far as Dynamics SL goes, use User Maintenance and add users by their windows user accounts. For SQL server in mixed mode authentication (required for Dynamics SL installations) the SQL accounts previously created should still have access. There is an option when logging into SQL for windows authentication or SQL server authentication. If the user chooses SQL, they should be able to use their previously created login. To get around needing the SQL authentication you can add users in server management or active directory to the SQL groups that get created when SQL is installed.
