Good afternoon,

Where do you make the change to show 5 decimal places against the different units of measure in the purchase order form.

You have to create a new EDT. The standard EDTs are not extendiable.

Note that you can create new EDT but you have to update that EDT in all fields where the value from Unit Price field in PurchLine is flowing to other tables. Otherwise, system will concatenate and round up your 5 decimals from PurchLine to 2 decimals in other tables. You can try Find reference on this field and check code to find all relevant tables.

    Hi Raj,

It will be better to create new EDT and map it to the field.
Also, I think it's not possible to change the number of decimals dynamically based on the Units of measure.

    Thanks,
    Girish S.

Hi Raj, In EDTs there is a property 'No of decimals is Extensible' which controls if we can extend the decimals for that EDT. PriceUnit EDT has this property false so the no. of decimals can't be changed in EDT extension. PriceUnit EDT extends from Price EDT (Check Extends property of EDT). But Price EDT also has property false. Price EDT extends from UnitAmountMST which has 'No of decimals is Extensible' property to True. You can extend that EDT and change No. of Decimals from Auto to 5. However, this change will reflect on all fields which are using these EDTs.
