Business Portal Alerts Hang up Windows Mobile Outlook Sync

This is a wild one so hold onto your socks. 

When our users receive e-mail alerts from Business Portal, that e-mail alert message sent from Business Portal is the last one they will receive on their Windows Mobile phone until they delete it.  In essence, receiving a BP Alert e-mail stops Exchange syncronization on Windows Mobile phones.  It happens with every single BP alert, and works this way regardless of the existence and state of other cached exchange profiles on other PCs.

CE OS 5.2.21054 (Build 21054.1.6.7)

 Anyone else experience this or know a fix for this?

    Hello Ron,

     I see you submitted case number 9678407 and that the problem with Windows Mobile and BP alerts seems to be resolved.  If you care to post what fixed the problem, other customers may benefit from this information.

    There's the link to the hotfix that fixed the issue.  It's actually a server-side patch to Microsoft Exchange 2003 SP2.  The issue was related to Sharepoint alerts, not necessarily SL or its Business Portal Sharepoint module.
