Cannot see Items in POS system

Hi All-
 
I am working on getting the DEMO for POS system setup. I can get in and I can lookup customers. It looks like I can select a product but I cannot see any products from D365. If I go to add to sales order, I can see the categories but if I search on anything I get this:
 
 
I have run the processes to make sure they show up but I am at a loss. I know this should be obvious but I am missing it.
 
Note: The assortment is assigned too.

    Database errors can come for many reasons. Please make sure you have filled in all required fields for retail in the product. I recall seeing this error when I forgot to set the Sales Unit in the product configuration. You can also try the product validate button. Dont forger to push 1040 after making any changes in PIM.

    But when i go to select the item I get a DB error:
     
     
     
    So close :) Any help is appreciated.

    After the assortment is assigned. You need to run the batch job named  "Process Assortment". Once the process assortment job is completed, run 1040. You could also run 9999 from the distribution schedule to make sure that channel DB is in sync with HQ.
     
    An easy method to make sure that there is no problem with assortment in HQ is to check the "View Channel Products" menu which will show the products if the assortment is configured and processed.

    Hi,
    You can check out this blog Dynamics AX 2012 for Retail: Items not showing in POS - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Blog, although it's a bit old, it mentions things to note when encountering this problem. (Add items to a published Assortment. Ensure the subjob is defined by the right job. Check the distribution filters for the job. Check specific tables at POS that are related to the job you are running to see if any data is coming across. etc). Hope it helps.
