How do I sign into Microsoft Dynamics Nav through Power BI?

I am trying to connect Power BI to Microsoft Dynamics Nav 2013. I select basic and enter in credentials. It just sits there. If there was an error I could troubleshoot based off of that but there is no error.

I was able to browse. That first link you showed me had me do it through the desktop app and it worked fine. Any thoughts on why it would work on the desktop but not with the cloud app?

Did you try installing the PowerBI gateway? Most of the time authentication related issues can be resolved using the PowerBI Gateway.

Can you access NAV using web client ? have you enabled SSL. I think one of the requirement is it has to be https.

I have not installed that. Do I need to install it directly on the server?

I can access with the web client, I have not checked for ssl.

Check for SSL and enable it

We use SOAP for some things and Odata works from the desktop Power Bi App. Would that stuff work if SSL wasn't configured? I don't have easy server access.

Power BI Windows Desktop don't need SSL but for PowerBI.com you need to configure SSL.
