Help : RMS Pos suddently went back to evolution mode how get my licencse back?

Posted on by 515

Hi,

one of our client using RMS pos for last 10 years and suddenly he got a pop up message saying Licence will expire on 27-07-2016 .

His partner company is not there now and microsoft don't have his customer data because he is not paying any AMC after he bought the licencse.

is there anyway to get his licence back? and can anyone let me know what the problem will be and how does it reset back to RMS.

Regards

Mouli.K

    Hello Mouli.

    Thank you for your question.

The activation is stored in the Windows registry, so what most likely happened was the registry was damaged.

They can try running a System Restore, and this may restore the damaged register. If this does not, the only way to restore the full version of RMS is to re-activate using the product activation key.

    Thank you,
