MS CRM 2016 Status Reason Transition Issue

I am getting strange exception while resolving the case as it is working fine in all environment except PRD after deployment..Does anybody have the any idea why it is coming ..

Below is the error log file

"because of status transition rules, you cannot  resolve a case in the current status. Change the case status , and then resolving it, or contact your system administrator"

    Hi Srikanth

    The Case status transition rules were introduced in CRM 2013 and these rules make it easier for people to choose the correct next status reason for a record when you have a large number of combinations for valid status reason values.

    "Status reason transitions are an optional additional level of filtering to define what the status reason value can be changed to for each status reason". It looks like in your instance this has been enabled. If you have permissions you can check the transition rules as shown below to decide which is the valid next status reason.

    If you do not want the rules to apply you can untick the check highlighted. If you do not want to make any change and want to keep as is, you just have to follow the rules set and set the valid next status reason based on the current one.
