Showing a value from Agreement in work order

Hi,

I have created a currency field on my work order, which i would like to get autofilled when an work order is created as part of an agreement. On the agreement i have also added a currency field which will hold the value.

I dont mind using the organisation (service account) record to hold the value either. I have tried this with a workflow to update the work order when a field is changed but is causing BF error.

Any suggestions

    Hi Damesh,

    Could you use field mapping on the Agreement to Work Order (1:N) relationship to populate the field on creation of the Work Order?

    This would work best if you don't expect the currency value to be updated on the Agreement over time as I believe the field mapping only  works on creation and not on update.

    Thanks. Im sure ive tried this but it didnt update the field.

    I have now resolved it using a field in the account and workflow.
