GP 2013 Year-end won't install on Win 8

I have installed the 2014 Year-end update on my server and all Win 7 clients. It will not install on my Win 8 PC. Even tried to run from command prompt. Never updates or gives any clear errors. Any hints out there?

Okay, I wasn't sure if the right-click on the msi was available in Win8 or not. I've only applied the update on Win7 machines but I'll bet UAC on Win8 has something to do with it.

Frank when i right click , there is only an apply option. I am a AD admin, and have admin rights on my PC

Are you running it as administrator? Right-click, Run as Administrator.
