Copy dynamics security to sharepoint

Hi all,

We are looking for a tool that copies Dynamics security to SharePoint. I found two tools online:

  1. SharePoint Security Sync (Inogic)

  2. SharePoint Permissions Replicator (Connecting Software)

  3.

From what I understand, both tools ultimately achieve the same goal, just in different ways.

We are using both Dynamics and SharePoint Online.

Does anyone have experience with these tools, and what are the pros and cons of each?

    Inogic,

The question was about the pros and cons of both mentioned solutions. Do you probably have some objective comparison of your tool compared with the other tool mentioned?

Both tools sync Dynamics 365 security to SharePoint Online.
Inogic’s SharePoint Security Sync is easier to set up, cloud-focused, and good for real-time syncing.
Connecting Software’s Permissions Replicator offers more deployment flexibility (cloud or on-prem), handles complex setups but can be harder to configure.

Choose Inogic for simplicity and cloud environments; choose Connecting Software for advanced needs or hybrid setups.

Hi there, I saw some posts and would like to give my 50 cents.

Connecting Software is the market leader in this area (10 years+). Inogic is half of the time on the market.
Connecting Software is covering the whole permissions model in D365 the other not.
D365 to SharePoint Permissions Replicator is ISO 27001 certified as well as from Microsoft Azure for GCC high for the Fed Government. Company is located in the EU and in the US with own entities and is obliged to be compliant to all the regulations. The product is build on GDPR regulations and covers a lot of legal requirements.  There is no way to get to any data from D365 or SP- that´s why the big ones buy Connecting Software.

They can do very big and complex scenarios and most exception you can even think about. More than 30 national departments, 50 global companies with even above 10,000 users went this way. Microsoft bought and recommend it for projects.

For simple smaller requests Inogic is good to go, cheaper but if you need security and compliance- Connecting software is the choice.
