Gross Profit in GP

I am trying to run a gross profit report by PO in GP. We do not use Serial Numbers in GP, just model, lot numbers and quantity. My problem is the sales information does not link back to any PO information. Please advise with any help

    You will need to commit your PO's to SOPs in order to even get close. The lot number may help as the PO lines will have lot numbers as will the SOP lines have lot numbers. You need to match up the SOP lines and UNITPRCE to the POP Unit Cost and multiply by quantities. If you commit your POs to SOPs this will be possible using the SOP60100 table( the ever popular SOP to POP table)

    Hello,

    If you study IV00200 table that hold by Item--> Lot unit cost.  You can use same table link with your Sales Line Item to get Selling Price and get your Profit by Sales Line Item.

    You may want to consider using the Sales module since it records Cost of Goods (based on your Inventory method - FIFO etc). If your cost is fluctuating that much you won't be able nail the real cost down unless you start using the PO generator directly in the Sales module, then you can create that link on the PO side for reporting.
