I've recently encountered an issue with the sync with CRM-Business Central when submitting an order from CRM to Business Central. When an order is created from CRM, it is populating the contact info in the order in Business Central with the main contact person that is populated in CRM. I would like to use the contact person and email address that is loaded in Business Central, but it keeps getting overridden with the contact person in CRM.
Additionally, the email address that I have loaded in the Customer Card in Business Central keeps getting overridden by the contact person that is loaded in CRM.
Any thoughts on how to prevent this?
Hello,
I am not sure if I follow the question.
When you create a sales order in CRM, you need to base it on a potential account or contact (let's say I create a new account via the sales order page in CRM). From there I submit the order.
Trying to create the order in BC, it tells me that it cannot do it because there is not yet a customer coupled for the order. After the synch did happen, the account is synched from CRM to BC. After that the order can be created in BC with the synched account / customer.
The customer /account synch is by default bidirectional.
The sales order synch is from CRM to integration table.
Hope it helps.
