Outlook CRM 2015 Add-In

Why does my Outlook Add-In for CRM continually stop loading ?  As a CRM Administrator it seems like everyday I have a call or even I experience it on a regular basis from my CRM disappearing from Outlook -I'm constantly having to go to the CRM 2015 Diagnostics Tool and enabling it and then going into Outlook and adding it back in.  Can someone please help me understand why this is happening and what I can do to correct it.

    This can be an ongoing battle.  Three things I first look for:

    1- Makes sure Outlook is not auto-disabling due to reduced load time.  go to Manage Add-ons to make sure its enabled on Start.

    2- CRM for Outlook add-in version - make sure on latest and greatest by running Windows Updates.  Ensure your group policy keeps this up to date.  Also - upgrading to CRM 2015 version add-in can resolve various issues (if still using 2013 version).

    3- Optimized Internet Options - the CRM for Outlook add-in uses the workstation Internet Options - make sure you have recommended settings.  Hasn't changed much since 2011 days.  www.powerobjects.com/.../recommended-browser-settings

    4 - Last - you can try pulling a trace to see if something else specific is disabling it - anti virus or anti-malware can cause issues.  

    5- Open ticket with Microsoft to pursue resolution

    Thank you Darren, Our organization is on CRM 2015 (Online) and this has been a constant problem since Upgrading from Premise 2013.  I appreciate the check list of things to look at.

    Recently upgraded?  Did you upgrade your Dynamics CRM for Outlook add-ins to the 2015 version? 

    The 2013 addin supports CRM 2015 orgs - but with many reports of instability - after upgrading to 2015 add-in those issues seem to have minimized.

    Yes -we upgraded the Outlook Client at the time of the Upgrade and before that we weren't having any issues with the Add-In becoming Disabled in Outlook and now it's a weekly occurrence for someone in our Organization.
