Tax ID for ELSTER VAT reporting Germany

Hi, 

In Germany two different tax numbers are used: 

* TAX ID format: 12 345 678 901. This is the one used to report on ELSTER.

* VAT number format: DE123456789

Does anyone know where the ELSTER file picks the TAX ID from? 

I would expect from "Organization administration > Legal entities > Tax registration number":

But the file produced does not include that number (I assume the name of the field where it should be included is the one in yellow):

I then assume that the "Tax registration number" field is to inform the VAT number and does not get inserted into the ELSTER file. 

So, my question is: where do we inform the Tax ID so it is picked up by the file? The report designer says that the name of the field is "Tax number":

Also, does anyone know what does these "mapped, no-mapped" refer to?

    Hi,

    TaxNumber use the following mapping:

    (TaxElectronicDeclaration.TaxAuthorityId&"0")&RIGHT(REPLACE(CurrentCompanyInfo.CoRegNum, "\D", "", true), 8)

    It use combination of TaxAuthorityId field on TaxElectronicDeclaration table and CoRegNum (Routing number) on CompanyInfo table.

    That sounds like a very useful information and I thank you very much for it. Unfortunately I can't decipher it. Could you translate it to user interface language, please? Which field do we need to fill in so the VAT ID comes up in the Steuernummer on the file?

    Hi CapsLock,

    At the moment there is no Elster integration available.

    You have to do the reporting manually.
