Does anyone know what the letter prefixes for financial reports mean? For example, M-INCOME, I_CASHFLOW- what does the M and I stand for?
I have the same question (0)

I think that the difference is that those who start with an I is published and webservices and often used as basis of graphical charts or Power BI reports.
The once starting with M is not ment for that use.

But it is just a naming - you can do your own naming regardless of how Microsoft have named the standard reports.

Thanks. I was thinking it might have something to do with frequency- M being monthly, though that wouldn't explain what I means.
