Our tenant media table is growing too large.  It's currently 130 GB.  We have retention polices set for emails, logs, etc.  We have also run the Clean Up Tenant Media actions for Detached Media.  Does anyone have any more input on actions we can take to clean this table safely?  Any guidance is appreciated.  thanks..
I have the same question (0)

    Hi
You must identify the origin of the documents, images or attachments that are causing this increase, based on that you may or may not delete their content. Or download them and save them on another external site.

GR.  Thanks for the link.  Although the link is more of a description of what I had put in my question/concern.  While it describes the problem, it does not explain the HOW.  I'm looking for the HOW to go about the resolution.  If you have more information related to how to go about identifying and cleaning up, I would appreciate it.  thanks..

Another consideration is to export existing data, save it locally or on a server, and clear the exported data from the code.

Hope this can give you some hints as well.
    Thanks.

After 2 months of work in Business Central SaaS (26.5), we received a Tenant Media table with about 40 K records and 18 GB in size.

During analysis, we have determined that approximately 95% of Tenant Media is occupied by email attachments from the Outbox and Sent folders (we actively send emails with attachments, and documents are stored outside of Business Central).
As we don't have access to email feature-related tables (e.g. 8904 "Email Message Attachment", Access = Internal), we continued our research.

A solution was found and supported without any additional coding. With a configured retention policy for tables 8888 Email Outbox and 8889 Sent Email, Retention job 3997 will perform the cleanup of email messages and related attachments (and, of course, Tenant Media as well).

Now, we gain control back of database size.
