How to show Item Available Quantity or On-Hand Quantity on Item Search screen in SOP ?

Hi Dynamics GP experts,

I've been looking for a way to show Item Available Quantity or On-Hand Quantity on Item Search screen as entering a sales order in GP.

Our customers normally ask what are available in our warehouse and place their orders.

So our representatives need to see all items with available quantity in SOP’s item lookup screen.

Can anyone please kindly advice how to add one column of available quantity on the screen?

thank you

Colin

Quantities are associated with SITE  or Locations. you  need to use , "Item Quantities by site" lookup.    Path. Inquiry--> Inventory--> Item.  open site ID look up.

you can also modify the window, or use some customized lookup.

This could be customized, See what Sandip has already customized an add-on for Dynamics GP which is called Smart Lookup, check it out on this link

, you might need to provide some insight here.

    Hi Colin,

Sandip's customization looks really good, that would probably be my first choice, but there is another way. The native out of the box lookup window actually has that information on it. What you are seeing when you hit the lookup button is an alternate window that is in the SmartList dictionary. If you change your Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports ID such that the Microsoft Dynamics GP window is used as the Items window, the following window will show as the lookup window:

These windows are often referred to as the old 'green bar' lookup windows.

    Kind regard,

    Leslie
