Production Order Reset status

I'm trying to track down how to reset the status on a production order that was doubled. It looks like order was posted already, but I can't get why it won't go to release to delete the production order.  When I delete it obviously says it cannot in the production status. I get that, but why I can't I go from start to release to put the inventory back in(error below)? The error says Quantity 4.72 cannot be received because items have already been returned or have been issued with different dimensions.

    Actually this only has a one deduct line.

    Well it moved on to the next line...lol. It looks like I need to adjust the batches.

    Lot 159104 looks like it will return correctly.

    So on the Full Reversal picking list you created earlier, change the batch number on Lot ID 106597 from 2326 to 2331 and try posting.

    This line shows another deducted amount for -4,72 also.

    Personalize the Lot ID to your invent trans and BOM screens.  It seems like someone picked a different batch to a Lot ID than is called out on the BOM.

    What do you mean by inventory dimensions? These are the inventory dimensions I know. The information doesn't look out of place from what I see.

    Agree that can be frustrating.  

    I would look at InventTrans for LOTE106597 next, and compare the inventory dimensions on the picking list you just produced vs. transactions vs. what the BOM calls out for that Lot ID.

    Same error on that recommendation. It's a frustrating that all that I have tried does nothing..lol.
