Exporting internal updates to a new note

Posted on by 15

I am trying to export out all the text in the internal updates field (free text field) and import into a new note. There are many old comments that we don't want showing up in our reporting.

I may have to do this as a 2 part process:

1) export the internal updates (I want to effectively remove all updates/comments and have the field blank

2) Import as a new note

Ive exported the internal updates &  removed (&save to another spreadsheet) but when I got import it duplicates the project record. Also I am unable to bulk create the new notes.

I'd like to do this in the D365 web interface but if not, happy to look at alternatives.

Thanks so much D36 community
