Migrating Projects to Business Central

I am in the process of trying to migrate historical projects from another project management solution to Business Central. I have been able to import the project details using a Configuration Package via an Excel import. I was also wanting to try and migrate the milestones of the project along with the rolled up financial values of sales versus cost so that project profitability can be displayed. I was also wanting to make sure that the posting dates are in line with the historical posting dates for these projects.

I believe that it may be possible to achieve this via configuration packages, but not sure what tables would be best to achieve this? Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Andrew,

when you are on some page in the BC, and you want to know which table is linked to that page, click Ctrl + Alt + F1 to open page inspection.

So, when you click on the Project planning lines from the Project Card lines, and if you have active page inspection, you will get a new page with project task nos. opened and information about table of that page listed in the page inspection.

I think that you are looking for Job Planning Line (1003) table.
