Issue with creating replacement order for a return order

Hi Experts,

I need your help to resolve the issue when creating replacement order for a return order.

When I am registering the inventory, I provide the Disposition code as '31 - Replace and credit' and complete the registration.

When I generate the packing slip from the return order screen, I get the error as shown in the attached screenshot. It does not create a replacement order.

Can you please help me understand, what went wrong or what setting did I miss.

Are you expecting the replacement order to be created automatically? I didn't know that that was possible. Are you following the process defined in TechNet? technet.microsoft.com/.../gg231129.aspx

Hi Tim, It worked.

In Lines view mode, I clicked on Return line >> Under Setup, clicked Replacement item. A new screen opened, where I selected the replacement item, entered the replacement quantity and also the WH from where the new replacement orders will be shipped. A new sales order for the replacement item was created.
