Hello,
I'm trying to find any documentation about whether Microsoft will finance the purchase of a new GP software license. I found a financing page but it's not really what I am looking for.
Example: Customer wants to buy GP but doesn't have enough money. Does Microsoft agree to finance the purchase or do they have to find their own (private) financing?

So it turns out that yes, Msft does provide financing! Use this email address:

I received a response yesterday and they do in fact finance. At least 10% of the total amount financed MUST be Microsoft software, but they will include services if necessary.

While I do not know if financing is available for it I do have a number that you could call and they should be able to provide you with the information. The Sales Operations team should be able to assist you more or provide you with the correct contact information.

Back a number of years ago we had a similar situation and we had to find our own financing for clients - we found that if there was a hardware purchase as well, some of the lenders were willing to add the software and some of the consulting services as well.
Challenge was always managing that block of time - when it ran out - the client still did not want to have pay - but that is a whole other challenge.
So, I think that self financing is the only option - someone else may know different.
