BOM mass changes, replase component

Hi,

In actual real production live, in order to lack some components, some time we must change one components ( for example foam 1 to foam2) on production orders.

Sytuation is easy if we have 5-10 orders.

But if we have 100 or more orders process consume a lot of time...

Do you have some ideas how to replase componest in production order, using mass changes, for orders before relase ?

Engineering Change Management, is goot but not for mass changes ?
Entity, propably is possibe but is high risk ?
Case management, but how ?

I'm counting on yours experiences

Hi,

Thx I was try go this way but after chose item to change in "Edit BOM line" I can't see in BOM LINE , Item number ( as on screen) to change

and i have below issue:

What can be wrong ?
