is it possible to merge two different relationship type [prospect and customer]..where prospect remain and customer relationship type go away

ok, but i have to ask that if i have 2 different relationship type[prospect, customer] can i merge?

From the message , It is understood that : may be one of the record is deactivated or both the record are deactivated.

So you can't merge.Once activate the record and try it once.
