how to add old/former employee(without license) who quit a company?

Hello,

I am migrating salesforce to Dynamics. I have many former employee's records, how to add them in my dynamics crm without assigning licence to them?

    Hi,

    This is online or on premise? If it's on-premise then it's not a problem to add a user without assigning license (just create a user and disable it). If it's online, you have to create this users in O365, add a license for them, wait few moments until they are added to Dynamics CRM, remove license from them (they will be not removed from CRM, just disabled). Remember that if you want to migrate the data and for example assign records to this users, you should give them some necessary privileges (you can add them to the team and add security role for team). It's not very fast and simple task but it's doable, I did this few times when migrating from on-premise to online.
