How do i get the Sales rep ID from Commission sales groups

I am trying to create a report based on a unique business requirement, a report that shows which assortments are assigned to which account executive and line of business,

I have been able to get the assortments by Line of business, the part i don know how to access is the Sales rep. I found out commission sales group had been set up and each group has a sales rep. This works for my report but i don't know the entity where i can extract the Sales rep person from.

Using the Contoso example, I have a sales group as Sales rep US

Clicking on General

The commision sales group entity doesnt include the Sales Rep Id,

So my question again is how do i access Barbara Zighetti

Hi Ayodeji Osanyin,

Instead of searching for entity you can directly add select statement joining CustomerSalesGroup and CustomerSalesRep table to get the sames rep. Relation would be CustomerSalesGroup .GroupId == CustomerSalesRep.GroupId.

I am creating the report on powerBI, so I need access to the entity, I can’t find any table called customersalesrep.

Are you using D365 F&O as a database for power bi?

Oh sorry, its not customer its CommissionSalesGroup and CommissionSalesRep table.

You can get the sales rep from CommisionSalesRep table.

Relation will be CommissionSalesGroup .GroupId == CommissionSalesRep .GroupId.

Also there is no Entity which has CommissionSalesRep as a datasource.

In that case you need to create a new data entity in d365 F&O by adding CommissionSalesGroup and CommissionSalesRep table and use it in power bi.

Hi Girish,

There is no CommissionSalesRep table that includes the table an din the group it just has the groupID and the group name as shown in the images below

Hi Ayodeji Osanyin,

You are correct. "CommissionSalesGroup" entity doesn't have CommissionSalesRep as a datasource in that entity.

If you need means you need to create a new entity with CommissionSalesGroup and CommissionSalesRep as a datasource and use it in power bi.

This is what I previously mentioned.
