I'm investigating the possibility to use the field service app to do inspections. The description of the app in Google Play Store and Microsoft Store has a bullet in the description:

"Perform and submit paperless field inspection processes"

How do I do this?

I know that Resco has their own app for this but this comes at an additional fee + I cannot get the templates to work on the field service app - only in the Resco CRM App and the Inspection App.

Has anyone successfully integrated a inspection solution into the existing app?

Hi froens,

From a recent Webinar. Resco has said that the Inspections do not work for Field Service at the moment till the Field Service app gets updated.

Any idea or timeframe of when the Field Service app is likely to be updated and have the Inspection functionality added?

I am wondering about the screenshot and can't find this in Microsoft Store /Google Play anymore today. I guess the "Inspections" mentioned on the screenshot does not refer to Resco Inspections. So I would be curious as to which extend the new Microsoft Inspections (from Dynamics 365 CE) can be exposed to the Field Service Mobile app. I think it is more likely to be a separate mobile app. Or maybe somethink we could embed as iframe into Field Service Mobile.

Hi,

I know it's been over 6 months that you have posted your question. I just want to give information that I have gathered after talking with different person at Resco. I was able to have a confirmation that Resco Inspection will not work in Field Service app of Microsoft. Even if you add the "questionnaire" to the Field Service app, when you click on it, it won't do anything. You need to go in the Microsoft Store and download Resco Inspection. Funny, funny, when you put the login and password of Field Service, you get an app similar to Field Service but with the difference of a small little yellow icon for the questionnaire.

Resco Inspection is not included in Field Service. It's an extra (about $3,800 per year) to have the questionnaire functionality.

Inspection template are on their way :D. Don't have a date.
