Hi Friends,
Currently I am having challenge on D 365, right now we have couple of module but user perspective I need to hide particular modules (let's say for example I want to hide the 'AR Module') how I can do it ?
I have tried many options but no luck, can you please help me to get resolved.
Regards,
Vinilkumar.
One way that I can think of to achieve this would be, create a configuration key and attached to those menus and then disable the configuration key
Users can see a module in the main manu if they have permissions to access any of the menu item in the module.
If you want to hide it, you must remove these permissions from users.
I believe you are approaching the situation incorrectly. AX security is set up to grant users access based on their roles (you can also specify specific duties and privileges for special cases).
You can give the Accounts receivable manager role to a user who will be in charge of your AR. You don't need to remove the users' privileges; instead, grant them access based on their roles. The user will be unable to access any of the remaining modules or menu items.
