I need to load country codes in GP10 for a 3rd party shippping application. Per gp documentation in order to enable the Tools-Setup-Company-Country Codes menu option I have to check "Enable Intrastat Tracking" in Company options. This option isn't something I want to enable so in order to be able to load the country codes is there any downside to temporarily checking off "Enable Intrastat Tracking", then loading the country codes via Country Code Maintenance, then unchecking "Enable Intrastat Tracking" again? I don't want to enable functionality that we don't use and have it change any transaction processing.

Thanks for the tip to use the country-code hyperlink. It was obvious once I saw it :)
The country code field is available on the Customer Card (and their addresses) regardless of whether the Intrastat Tracking option is ticked or not.
As you know, if Intrastat is not ticked, the option to open the country code maintenance window won't be available at Tools >> Setup >> Company >>.
However...If you open the Debtor Card, and click on the blue hyperlinked Country Code text - it will open the Country Code Maintenance window and you wuill be able to create your country codes.
Best to download the ISO country codes from the ISO website and use these codes in GP. Makes life a bit easier if you are trading in Europe in the future.
