GP 10 Change User Date Message not Showing

Hello,

We upgraded from GP 9 to GP 10 with SP4. Everything seems fine now. However I noticed that users stop receiving the User Date change, which can cause big problems for us.

 

I read this blog http://dynamicsgpblogster.blogspot.com/2009/08/user-date-rollover-message-not.html  to add the following line into my Dex.ini file:

SuppressChangeDateDialog = True

In my case it is still not showing up... can somebody please help me to get the User Date message showing up?

    To get the message to appear, you need to set the value to 'False'.  Setting it to true disables the message.

    Thanks Frank for your input.. yes that makes sense actually. I'll change the value to False and let's see if it shows up at midnight.

    You could actually test it immediately - change the time on your workstation to 11:59 and see if the message appears a minute later . . .
