when we try to post the consumption entry we are getting the below error:
Item tracking defined for item [Item No.] in the Prod. Order Component accounts for more than the quantity you have entered.
You must adjust the existing item tracking and then reenter the new quantity.
Please help us and provide the suggestion to resolve it.

Hello,
In your Consumption Journal, the Item in question, which is an Item Tracking component (Lot or Serial) the Item Tracking Line quantity is more than the consumption quantity. I would validate the Quantity you want to consume and make sure the Item Tracking Line quantity matches.
