Unable to configure a workflow for automatic emails (assigned tasks)

Hi,

I'm trying to configure a workflow so that user receives an automatic email once a task has been assigned to him.

I got the automatic email, that's good. However, some info. concerning the account/task is not properly displayed.

2nd question. I never get the email if I register the task and I remind the owner. Why? It works if I assign the task to someone else and then I reassign the task to me. (makes no sense)

My config :

This  is what I get:

5238.crm-3.png

- No information concerning the task (neither the subject nor the descpription)

- User name (created by ) not displayed

- Please communicate to : was suposed to be the opportunity owner and not the task owner

Any ideas? It seems to be a config. issue but I just don't get it...

Using MS Dynamics 2016 and Outllook (office ) 2016

    Fields are properly displayed.

However I have a new issue : if I assign the task it works really fine, but if a different user assigns the task, the automatic email is generated but never sent. Any idea why?

    Hi,
Whenever we need to send the email or notify someone using automation, we can achieve this using Workflow but the workflow must be of Asynchronous one by which it will not affect the performance of the system.

The reason for not getting the data of the subject, description, etc is that the way you configured was wrong as you have added the fields automatically i.e Subject, Description, etc are not in yellow color. Therefore, the system is considering it as a normal text that needs to be displayed to the user whom this email will be sent. (in your 2nd screenshot).

We have attached our screenshots, where you can get an idea of what mistakes did you make while configuring. And also, we have shown how to create the Hyperlink URL to visit that record by simply clicking to it.
