How do you delete a Solution Publisher that was created in error? The only solution associated with that Publisher has been deleted.

You can delete publisher from Setting--> Customization --> Publishers
Then you will get list of all publishers within system. you can remove from here.
I think before deleting publisher, make sure you don't have any solution under this publisher.
