Checkbook balance as of cutoff date

Posted on by 25

I'm new to GP.  A quick (possibly wishful thinking) question.... where does the "Chequebook balance as of cutoff" balance come from?  Shouldn't it be my GL balance (it's not).  So essentially my reconciliation isn't reconciling to my GL balance.  Thanks

    Right from the help files:

    Checkbook Balance as of Cutoff

Displays the current balance of the checkbook as of the cutoff date. This amount is calculated by taking the current balance, plus checks posted after the cutoff date, minus deposits posted after the cutoff date.
