How to remove models from UDE's

Hello Experts,

Does anyone know how to remove models from a UDE provisioned environment?
I did a copy down from a T2 environment with code and data, i want to remove the custom code and keep the data so that a vendor can do a clean POC

I have tried to do this via Visual Studio using Extensions -> Dynamics 365 -> Deploy -> Delete Models from online environment, and sync after
I tried to remove all custom models in custom meta data folder with build and sync
I tried to remove via package manager by just flagging custom models as inactive and sync
I tried doing all three of above and sync after

I tried searching for this online but keep getting instructions for cloud hosted environments and moving the code into T'2s

We moved to using UDE from LCS after MS support recommended we do so, this was the issue we were having with LCS after 10.41 that I posted to the community, this issue occurs after making the config changes, adding users works but not reports. however if I don't make the config change reports work but not adding users

We also have several UDE tickets open with MS product team for various other UDE issues.
So now i am stuck going both UDE and LCS directions. What should I do?

Best Regards,

    Hi,

Have you tried to remove the model before you deleted any meta data? Was the model that you wanted to delete available for selection to be removed?

    Hi,

I just validated if the delete option via the Dynamics 365 extension in Visual Studio is still working. It deleted the model I highlighted. So, check if you have the correct meta data on your local system to be able to show and delete the models.

yes, i did and the models were visible. Digging through the logs the environment in question was failing to auth with ****
I spun up a new environment and was able to complete with the steps below with no issue.

    Thanks, André

    Best Regards
