Hello,
We are currently using the standard integration of Dynamics 365 sales with business central. (This works fine)
When accounts are created in D365 sales, they need to be manually created in Business Central.
We have removed the "Sync only coupled records" on the Customer table in the integration Table mapping.
However when we create an account the customer is not created automatically and needs manual intervention.
Does someone know why this is not working?

By default, the record created in Dynamics 365 for Sales not synchronize in Dynamics 365 Business Central instantly.
You can either set the Job Queue to to run earlier than 30 minutes, or you can write code on any other trigger based on the requirement to run it manually using code

when the record is created in D365 Sales it does not create record instantly in Business central
There is job queue which is run in background. By default the job queue runs every 30 mins
But you can reduce it. Refer the below link for more information.
