Web Service Connection Timeouts

System.TimeoutException: The HTTP request to 'http://sharepoint01:48620/Dynamics/GPService/GPService' has exceeded the allotted timeout of 00:00:59.4840000. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout.

How can I increase the alloted timeout?
