I set-up a Workflow that automatically sends an Email whenever a new Record is created. It works fine, but it keeps repeating, eg, you'll get 100 of the same Email every day. I added the step to Stop with a Status of Succeeded, but this has made no difference.
Then, yesterday, I ran a Duplicate Detection job, following the import of some new Account records. I got the Email Notification from CRM that it was 'Complete', but I've (again) received nearly 40 copies of the same Email from CRM telling me it's 'Complete'. They seem to be coming through every 30 minutes.
Is this a known issue? I did a quick search of the web, but perhaps I'm not phrasing it correctly.
