GP2013 - Smartlist segment name incorrect after PSTL account modifier/combiner

Hi,

The client has changed their account format set up from  Program-Funding Source-State-Natural (3-3-3-4) to Program-Natural-Funding Source. (3-4-3)

We had run the PSTL account modifier/combiner tool successfully, and have reconciled the Account Format setup window to show the correct segments.

However, her Account Transactions Smartlist favorites seem to still show the incorrect segments.  For example, the Funding Source should now be the 3rd segment, but each time we try to update the columns or even remove them and reselecting them, the report shows zero lines.  When we look back at the Columns, it still referenced the Funding Source as Segment2.  The default Smartlists runs fine.  They have over 50 Smartlist favorites.

Appreciate any ideas to troubleshoot this issue.

Thanks!

Have you tried running a Check Links on the Account Master table? Please backup your company database prior to running this procedure.

We did since we had to rename all the segment names after running the Account Master reconcile.

    Thanks.

    Hi Gina,

Can you check to see if the top level SmartList is modified? In that case it will not update automatically, I believe you will be able to change the segment names manually in there. However, that might wipe out their Favorites. :(

I recently did one of these and missed the last step of rebuilding the GL00105 table.  I believe Leslie had listed it in an article about account format change.  You can rebuild using PSTL.  Once I did that, my SmartLists were correct.

Stefanie,  I don't see the rebuilding GL00105 as an option on the PSTL tool.  We will try doing that manually.  Thank you.

Yes, the top level or default Smartlist is fine.  Their favorites are not picking up the right account segments.  I will try rebuilding the GL00105 and see how it goes.  Thank you.

Yes, the default is fine.  We will try rebuilding the GL00105 to see if it helps.  Thank you.

You should see it if you choose the toolkit option.
