Mass ROE help - Canadian Payroll

We have never used the mass ROE and have never used the batch file creation. Our users enter ROE detail one by one on the Service Canada site.

We need to create and submit 80 ROE"s and in testing the features in GP2010 Cdn Payroll, I can't seem to get it to work at all. Any tips? Do I need to do some kind of mass cleanup of existing ROE data such as markoffs or something?  The instructions assume that everything works.

The Mark Off of the ROE is the most common issue encountered when doing ROE's of any kind.  I have to make that reminder a perment reminder for some of our clients.

    Thanks for posting the solution

I was able to get this to work by Marking Off all previously generated ROE's in the SQL back-end (Test company, of course).  Then Mass created the ones we wanted and generated the file successfully.

I will make sure payroll users make it a habit to Mark Off all ROE's once completed.

Thank you for your offer to help.

Should have added - we know the ROE system works in Canadian Payroll module and have done hundreds, but like you, we have not done the MASS ROE - funny, never had to do so many at one time to consider using that tool.

I have a 'clean' GP Test system and will assist as I can.

Barb are you getting any specific error message - or is the system just not creating the ROE that you think it should be?

With a bit more information I will see what I can do to assist.
