Link between items transactions and GL entries

Hello Everybody

Do we have in AX any link between items transactions and GL entries ?

For example, to link items that we can have in CustPackingSlipTrans and GeneralJournalAccountEntry ?

My need is to link amounts in GeneralJournalAccountEntry with there origine in CustPackingSlipTrans like in this scenario :

some times we have for example 2 items in CustPackingSlipTrans  with the same Product Group Item1 (with Amount = 100) and Item2 (with Amount = 200) in my GeneralJournalAccountEntry  i will get 300 as amount, but I want to have an automatic explanation for this last Amount from CustPackingSlipTrans using SQL Query.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

The linkage is established in the inventory posting matrix that you can find under inventory/setup/posting/posting.

What is it that you want to achieve actually?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

Hi Ludwig and sorry for the delay because I didn't see that you asnwered to my question !

So, I'm not looking for the posting profiles but the link between Items Transactions and the entries that are generated in GL.

    My example was  :

some times we have for example 2 items in CustPackingSlipTrans  with the same Product Group Item1 (with Amount = 100) and Item2 (with Amount = 200) in my GeneralJournalAccountEntry  i will get 300 as amount, but I want to have an automatic explanation for this last Amount from CustPackingSlipTrans using SQL Query.

==> What ill be the SQL Query for linking CustPackingSlipTrans   and GeneralJournalAccountEntry  to explain this amount in GL (300 which is agregated) refering to their original transactions in CustPackingSlipTrans  ?

    I hope it's clear :)
