How to Apply the Service Pack on one GP environment specifically without Affecting all the others

Dear

On my PC i have several Dynamics GP environments , they are all currently on SP 4

I have an issue on one of my environments that requires deployment of SP 5 and i want to do that without affecting the other environments because once you run the Service pack it will affect all of them.

Is there a way to run the SP5 and make it affect this one environment specifically. (Maybe rename all my other GP folders...)

Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Yes you can Export your current registery to a file as a backup and then revert it back when done.

Dear Mohamad

Thank you for your prompt support as usual. I studied the link you sent me , but i have a question

Once i complete the steps of Q13 and i run the SP 5,

is there anything i need to do to return the Regedit to it's previous state. (what i mean: from now on , if i run any GP service Pack , is it going to affect this specific instance ONLY ...or is this a one time effect)

You can apply the Service Pack for specific instance, take a look into the below FAQ and notice Question number "13", follow the steps and you will be good to go:
