Site map menu missing after crm 2013 installation

I have installed a trial version of CRM 2013 onto my 2012 VM which is also a domain controller. But I get the following when I browse to the CRM site with Deployment Manager. All the icons are aligned with the left side of web page and the SiteMap (menu) is missing. Probably missing something obvious - any thoughts!

Hi,

It seems you are using unsupported verion of the browser that's why it's redirecting you to mobile client. Please look here for supported browser version for CRM 2013
