Execution order for asynchronous plugins

Hi,

I have two plugins having asynchronous steps (registered on post-operation). Both will be triggered on same entity and message. I have specified the execution order for both, I want them to execute sequentially. I wanted to know

  1. Does the execution order field in plugin registration tool applies to asynchronous steps as well?
  2. Does it imply that step having execution order '1' will be executed and completed before step having execution order '2' starts?

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank You,

Mayank

    Hi Abdul Wahab,

Just another question to make sure we are on the same page

Does this apply to the steps which we register in our plugin on plugin registration tool?

If YES, then how can we add this DependencyToken field to the step. Is it added from plugin registration tool or from code?

    Thanks,

    Mayank
