Hi,
During the outsourcing process the quantity on the Outsourced PO changes, is there a way to have the Production order quantity get updated to reflect the change, manually or automatically?

Change the quantity on the production order - what does it tell you?
In essence you have a quantity you are aiming to make. I presume you are sending the units out as part of a complete process and therefore it is simply consuming the elements from the vendor warehouse/received warehouse as you "receive" them. You could create the outsourced element as a complete sub-BOM and referenced order, but ultimately you would consume short or get a planned suggestion to outsource more. You have to amend the quantity on the order you can no longer make fully because an outsourced component is short.
