Fields are Showing Locked for Users( Admin Privilege)

Hi all,

I have created a Lookup Type field with admin's Privilege in dynamics CRM. It is showing As Locked in the form for the users which are not having System Admins Role in CRM. The field is not having Any type of Field security neither it ia s read only field.

    Hi Varsha,

    Not sure which entity you are working with here but you will need to look at the role permissions on the entity and the Please check the following role privileges for the roles of the users.

    Example is if they are using a Salesperson role - Make sure the "Append To" is set for the Salesperson role for the lookup entity that you added to the form and the Append is set for the base entity where you added the lookup field for the Salesperson role.

    Hi Varsha, check the permissions on the lookup entity, if the user role is having correct permissions to view those entity records.

    Hi Varsha,

    You need to check for related entity privilege for which you have created the lookup.

    Let's say contact has an account lookup in contact creation form.

    So the lookup will enable in contact form only when account have "append to" access and contact has "append" access.
