Export file from payment journal

Posted on by 200

Hello experts

I need some help regarding exporting payments to bank file. When the file is generated the amount is missing. So how to I get the amount in the file, when exporting from a Payment journal? Some guides available  ?

    follow

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh173994(v=nav.71).aspx

    http://dynamicsuser.net/blogs/admin/archive/2013/10/10/cash-management-in-dynamics-nav-2013-r2-what-is-it-and-why-now.aspx

result is: in nav 2013 r2 standard, there is no import/export functionality in the payment journal (i checked it).

it depends on the local version. in your case there is one, maybe developed by microsoft denmark.

it seems you have found a bug or it is a configuration issue (Posting Exchange Definition and Posting Exchange Mapping).

    for more info read this:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn495312(v=nav.71).aspx

and contact your nav provider and/or microsoft denmark about that bug/issue.

how do you export the data from the payment journal? using the excel button or a customization (additional not standard button with not standard function behind)? what kind of export file do you create (xls, csv, dat, edi, ...)? if it is a customization contact your developer team. the (only) standard export function is the excel button.

I am using the Danish format which i born with. I am not sure the bank will accept an Excel file, but it is worth trying to see if the amount will be present in Excel. But do you know if there are any guides available about this subject? thanks for answering :)

Apart from jonathan's suggestion you can just click the excel button in the page to export all the information to a excel file. ( Only the field in the page will be exported, so any field that has been hidden will not be exported)

    hi,

try action menu (left-top corner in the page) --> print & send --> microsoft excel.

or .. select all rows in the payment journal, right-click --> copy rows --> paste the rows in an empty excel doc.

if that does not help, maybe it's a bug. check for hotfixes and updates.
