We have been using Dynamics for some time for pure contact relationship. We are now migrating sales order processes into the system.
I have come across an obstacle with regards to exchange rates. We could manage these in a custom entity without too much issue, but that seems a 'shame' given the inbuilt functionality that comes with Dynamics.
I'm using Kingswaysoft SSIS to manage the import and generally it all works really well. I can update price lists, currencies, units etc. etc. without issue, but what I can't seem to be able to do is set the exchange rate attribute in either than order or orderdetails entities.
I would then like to be able to maintain the ability to update the exchange rates going forward because we operate a process of forward booking so need to update future orders when new exchange rates are entered. We only update rates once a month. Has anyone else ever been able to set historical rates manually and/or built workflows/plugins than manipulate the rates?
